Las Vegas, Nev. (USA) – A full lineup of the mixed Martial Arts world’s most exciting and respected athletes will be in action at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California on Sunday, June 1, as World Extreme Cagefighting® (WEC™) is pleased to announce a high-impact undercard for the upcoming WEC: FABER VS. PULVER event.

The card is headlined by the long-awaited superfight which will determine the undisputed king of the featherweight division, “The California Kid”, WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber, will take on MMA legend Jens “Lil Evil” Pulver. Plus, Miguel Angel Torres defends his bantamweight title against top ranked Yoshiro Maeda.

Announced today for the VERSUS television main card are exciting matchups between former WEC lightweight champion Rob McCullough and Kenneth Alexander, and former NCAA wrestling champion Mark Munoz and Chuck Grigsby.

Donald Cerrone takes on Richard Crunkilton, Jeff Curran battles Mike Brown, Chase Beebe returns against Will Ribeiro, and Alexandre Nogueira makes his WEC debut against Jose Aldo.

Tickets for WEC: Faber vs. Pulver, priced at $185, $125, $75 and $35 (not including applicable services or taxes), are on sale now. LAS VEGAS – After a star-studded 2007 in Las Vegas that saw the crowning of new champions, the emergence of new ones, and a continuation of the high-octane action that has become a trademark of the organization, World Extreme Cagefighting® (WEC™) will take its show on the road Wednesday, February 13 with a championship tripleheader that is sure to pack the Santa Ana Star Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In the main event, Albuquerque’s own “Natural Born Killer”, Carlos Condit, looks to defend his WEC Welterweight title and avenge a previous defeat in the same night as he takes on Carlo Prater. Todd Moore 4-Fight Deal With WEC PDF  | Print |

Todd Moore, who is the current Ring of Combat champion has signed a four fight deal with the WEC last month according to MMA Notebook.  Moore who is the undefeated Welterweight fighting out of Houston Texas has a 9-0 MMA record.  Moore will most likely be making his WEC debut December 12th at WEC 31.

Cerrone Tests Positive For Hydrochlorothiazide PDF  | Print |

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone has tested positive for banned diuretic Hydrochlorothiazide, following his WEC 30 bout against Kenneth Alexander.

Cerrone has not commented on the matter and has the opportunity to defend himself at a hearing in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, the date of which is yet to be confirmed.

Eight of the fighters were tested from the WEC 30 Card including: Rob McCullough, Rich Crunkilton, Chase Beebe, Rani Yahya, Bryan Baker, Jesse Forbes, Donald Cerrone, and Kenneth Alexander.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the official list of medical suspensions stemming from WEC 30:

Richard Crunkilton: Medically suspended until October 20th with no contact until October 6th.
Rani Yahya: Medically suspended until November 5th with no contact until October 20th.
Jeremiah Billington: Medically suspended until October 6th with no contact until September 27th
Jesse Forbes: Medically suspended until October 20th with no contact until October 6th.
Coty Wheeler: Medically suspended until October 20th with no contact until October 6th.
