Both fighters come out with a fast punch exchange. Fight moves to cage wall. Back to centre. Kelly gets takedown. Taylor reversal. Kelly lands blows from above. Unable to pass Guard. Exchange of blows whilst to ground. Kelly stands. Lands big right. Back into Taylor's guard. Taylor attempts guillotine. Kelly escapes.

Rd 2
Taylor looks exhausted. Kelly lands knee. Taylor gets take down. Kelly's guard is weak. Taylor fails to get Kelly's back. Kelly to top. Both landing head blows but no damage. Taylor makes kimora attempt. Kelly breaks free. Kelly stands to land big punches. Back to ground. Taylor makes poor kimora attempt. Taylor is badly cut to forehead.

Rd 3
Kelly lands big head blows. Takes fight to ground. Taylor's cut opens wider. Kelly continues to control from top. Taylor struggles to defend. Fight brought to feet. Taylor takes advantage. Kelly gets takedown. Posture to attack. Kelly lands elbows to face. Taylor makes last attempts to score points. Kelly postures again. Decision goes to judges.

Antoni Hardonk Vs. Colin Robinson - Hardonk via TKO(Strikes), Round 1, 0:17

Jorge Rivera Vs. Kendall Grove - Rivera via TKO, Round 1, 1:20
Rivera gets early takedown. Landing a lot of big punches from above, Grove stands and is immediately KO'd with strikes.

Wilson Gouveia Vs. Jason Lambert - Gouveia via KO, Round 2, 0:37
Rd 1
Lambert stalking early. Lambert goes for takedown. Gouveia reversal. Choke attempt. Arm bar attempt. Lambert struggling to escape. Lambert breaks through to land head hits. To feet. Guillotine attempt Gouveia. Triangle attempt. Lambert escapes. Lambert remains on top. Manages to pass guard to land hits. Gouveia's corner loose mouthpiece.

Rd 2
Gouveia lands punches as Lambert stalks. Lambert presses against cage. Gouveia breaks and gets KO via a huge left hook.

Jess Liaudin Vs. Marcus Davis - Davis via KO, Round 1, 1:04
Liaudin connects with kicks. Davis lands KO blow as Liaudin steps in to Kick.

Fabricio Werdum Vs. Gabriel Gonzaga - Werdum via TKO (Strikes), Round 2, 4:34
Rd 1
Hesitant start. Gonzaga gets takedown. Stood up by ref. Kick exchange. Werdum knocked to floor by kick, twice. Werdum takes Gonzaga to floor. No major advances. Gonzaga attempts knee bar.

Rd 2
Werdum attacks with kicks and punches. Takedown. Brought back to feet. Werdum taken to floor after a weak kick, twice. Lands big knees to Gonzaga's head. Punches and knees against cage take Gonzaga to floor. Big punches to side of head stop the fight in the later seconds. Werdum beats Gonzaga for second time.

BJ Penn Vs. Joe Stevenson - Penn via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke), Round 2
Rd 1
Penn takes fight to floor in initial seconds with heavy blows. Penn controls floor action. Stevenson makes weak guillotine attempt. Penn retakes control. Penn gets back to full Mount. Stevenson escapes to fence. Penn controls from top in Side Control. Stevenson lands blows to head. Stevenson has massive cut to forehead caused by elbow from Penn. Doctor allows fight to continue.

Rd 2
Stevenson lands first punches. Penn controls the action. Herb Dean calls time out after 2 minutes. Doctor says contine. Penn takes down with punches. Full mount obtained. Penn lands blows to cut. Rear Naked Choke attempt successful. Stevenson taps.

Penn becomes the UFC Leightweight champion, he will now likely face Sean Sherk commenting in the Octagon by saying:

"sean sherk is dead!"

Sherk enters to Octagon to defend himself and says  "I have no respect for BJ"
