UFC Middleweight Chris Leben has been sentenced to 35 days in Jail by Clackamas County Circuit Court, Oregon. Leben gave him self up to officials last week after violating his probation terms, which he received following his arrest for a DUI (Driving under the influence) back in 2005. Leben handed himself in after realising that he would require a visa to fly to England for his coming bout against Mike "The Count" Bisping at UFC 85: Bedlam on June 7th. Court officials have advised that Leben will not be released before 9.00am on the 27th May, this just gave Leben under 2 weeks to prepare, and as a result it is rumoured that the UFC have cancelled the fight, although the bout still remains on the UFC site for now. I believe that a replacement will be found for "The Count" to face, as a home turf fight for Bisping is a massive crowd draw for UFC fans in the U.K. so watch this space..
