Pro elite has officially announce their purchase of MMA organisation's, Icon Sport and King of the Cage, EliteXC Live Events President Gary Shaw announced: "we came and invested in and bought Rumble World.......And today we're proud to announce that within the last hour, we just completed our deal and we bought ICON. So, we own the islands." This news comes as rivals Rumble on the Rock and ICON Sport shelve differences and work together, the first outing of the likes to be seen at tonights EliteXC: Uprising event in Honolulu, where we will see the unification bout between Icon Sports Robbie Lawler and EliteXC's Middleweight Champ Murilo "Ninja" Rua.
