Following my lazy ass, inaccurate report that Renato Sobral had signed a contract with EliteXC's Strikeforce organisation, it has emerged that he has infact signed a three fight contract with up and coming Canadian organisation Hardcore Championship Fighting, Sobral who earlier this year was released form his UFC contract for refusing to release a choke on David Heath finds himself in good company on HCF's books amongst the likes of Antonio “Minotoro” Nogueria, Aleksander Emelianenko, Dan Bobish and Wesley “Cabbage” Correira.

No announcement has been made as yet for "Babalu's" debut but we will be sure to let you know when it is made.

Hardcore Championship Fighting "Title Wave" takes place on October 19th at The Stampede Corral, Calgary, Alberta, and incles bouts from:
