Investment at Cage Warriors PDF  | Print |
Posted by Cage Warriors Press Release
After lengthy negotiations, Cage Warriors UK MA Ltd, the innovator in MMA can now announce that they are to receive an undisclosed sum for a minority stake in the business and will use this to expand upon its current forecast expansion plans.

Commenting on this, Andy Lillis of Cage Warriors said, “I am over the moon that Cage Warriors will be able to meet its ambitious development plans over the coming 3 years. Since 2002, the Cage Warrior brand and its events have succeeded in its passion to provide great entertainment and a desire to provide professional support and a platform for its fighters and the sport as a whole. This new development means we can further promote the Cage Warrior brand at home and across the globe’

The new investment will contribute largely to a major marketing push & business re-organisation. When asked, Tony McDonagh, Commercial Director at Cage Warriors said, “Developing and launching any product globally is a challenge. Effective research is key to this, which is why we have spent such a long time developing a commercial model that can be used in this way. One outstanding issue right now is www.cagewarriors.com which has been left to rust for too long but amazingly still commands a massive unique viewer rate. The site will undergo a significant revamp over the next 2 months and pay tribute to its phenomenal popularity amongst MMA fans”

Cage Warriors are expected to release details of a heavier schedule of UK & USA events later this month. Meanwhile, all current events including ‘Enter the Rough House 6’ at Harvey Hadden Centre, Nottingham on April 19th & at Kissimmee Civic Centre, Fl on April 29th will proceed as normal. A further 6 UK events are to be added to its existing schedule and these will be announced shortly.
