Last week, fans of Bodog Fight's groundbreaking online mixed Martial Arts series The Vault saw middleweight champion Trevor Prangley advance to the finals of a four-man elimination tournament at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. Bodog Fight The hard-hitting South African earned a controversial decision over Hawaiian Falaniko "Niko" Vitale (24-8) in the tournament opener, when an eye injury caused doctors to stop the fight after two closely fought rounds. The three ringside judges scored the bout 19-19, 19-19, and 20-18 for Vitale, ruling the bout a majority draw. That meant the decision would go to the referee who, with Vitale injured and unable to progress further in the tournament, awarded the fight to Prangley (17-4).
