Hatton Mayweather Confirmed 8th December
Written by Rob Curry

The Floyd Mayweather Vs. Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton fight has been officially confirmed for the 8th December, and Mayweather has promised Hatton a KO at the Las Vegas Scheduled Superfight:

"He's definitely getting knocked out," said Mayweather.

The five-weight world champion added: "I am the best fighter in boxing today, and I'm prepared for any challenge my team puts in front of me. And with Ricky Hatton it's already personal."

"He has talked and disrespected me so much in the past months that I can't wait to get him in the ring and show him he is not even on my level."

"Hatton is relishing the opportunity to prove himself the best fighter on the planet and is set to earn a career-best purse of up to £8million for the bout, which will be promoted by Oscar de la Hoya's "Golden Boy Promotions".

Many have Hatton down as the underdog in this match up, but Hatton is adamant that people are grossly underestimating him.

talking to Sky Sports Hatton said: "I am fighting a five-weight world champion and the best fighter in the world. He's just come off a win over another modern-day legend in De la Hoya. It can't get any bigger than that."

Hatton Vs. Mayweather Closer Than Ever
Written by Rob Curry
Ricky Hatton MEN ShotManchester's Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton is on the brink of securing the larget PPV deal ever for a non-heavyweight British fighter, Hatton called out semi-retired Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather following his victory over Jose Luis Castillo, confirmation of the fight came from Mayweather's camp, with Leonard Ellerbe stating:

"This is a great fight for the fans," he said. "We have two young unbeaten fighters at the top of their game, from two different countries going against each other. It's what boxing needs.

"I never thought Ricky would do it but he deserves credit for stepping up to the plate. He asked for it and now he is going to get it.

"Floyd is extremely excited. He wants to show Hatton that he has never fought at this level before. He's going to show him what it's like to step into the ring with the best fighter."

Hatton sees this fight as one that can finally silence the doubters, and will prove once and for all that he will face anyone, and is willing to be tested, the official announcement is expected to be in the very near future and we'll be there when it happens.

Can Hatton Win or will the Pretty boy find it pretty easy discuss it in the forums.
